Hi, I’m JO PIGGY. In Seongsu, you walk into a café for coffee and somehow spend ten minutes admiring the room first. One photo, one sip, one bite of dessert—and the afternoon has politely disappeared.
Today your choices are sweet corn in a coffee cup, a small cake worth slowing down for, and a coffee stop where the machines are part of the show. Three cafés, one stomach. Be strategic.
Three places to consider
1. Highline Seongsu Café
Visitors mention sweet Chodang corn coffee, French toast and a bright second-floor room. A corn coffee sounds odd until your curiosity orders it for you. Pair it with a window seat if one is free.

2. Notre Don
The pastry case may take longer to browse than the drink menu. Reviewers liked pistachio and chocolate desserts, crisp mille-feuille and careful packing. 'I'll just look' is a fine sentence, but it may not survive a fork.

3. Breville Café & Store Seongsu
This is a café with a coffee-machine showroom attached. Reviews mention good coffee, helpful explanations and the pleasure of looking around. Come for a cup; leave knowing suspiciously much about espresso gear.

One last bite
